# Food trucks and late bites on Missoula show nights

Missoula has many food trucks, and most of them move. A truck can park at a taproom on a Friday night and at a market on Saturday morning. If you go to a show, you want to know two things. Which truck is near the venue, and how late does it stay open? This page tells you where trucks usually park in the evening and which ones stay out late. It also shows how to see the trucks next to the shows on [MissoulaTonight](https://missoulatonight.com/).

## Taprooms and bars are the main evening stops

Most evening trucks park outside a brewery, a taproom or a bar. These stops have a truck on many days.

- **[Draught Works](https://missoulatonight.com/venues/draught-works), 915 Toole Ave.** Trucks park here from 5 to 8 pm on most evenings, on a weekly rotation, so the food changes from night to night. Mai City Food (Chinese and Cantonese-American) and Big Thai Country (Thai) are two of the trucks. The brewery posts the rotation on [its food truck page](https://www.draughtworksbrewery.com/food-truck-schedule/).
- **OddPitch Brewing, 1200 W Kent.** Zeera (Pakistani, halal) parks here often, and Pipe Dream Food Truck (gourmet hot dogs) stops here too.
- **Highlander TapHouse, 200 International Dr.** It has its own truck, the Highlander Beer Taco Trailer, with street tacos and quesadillas. The listings show it open from noon to 9 pm on most days.
- **KettleHouse Myrtle St Taphouse, 602 Myrtle St.** Aiko's serves Japanese fusion food here: karaage, katsu and mochi donuts.
- **Big Sky Brewing.** Garden City Taqueria serves street tacos, birria and burritos.
- **Town & Country Lounge, 1616 S Third St W.** Fire & Stone Food Co (Neapolitan pizza) parks next to the lounge. Little Pink (smash burgers and Nashville hot chicken) uses the same lot on many evenings.

A taproom stop works well on a show night. You can eat and have a drink, then go on to the venue.

## Late bites

Many evening stops end at 8 or 9 pm. A few trucks stay out later.

- **Gary's Local ($6 Burgers)** makes burgers, breakfast sandwiches and shakes with Big Dipper ice cream. It lists evening hours downtown at 235 E Front St, often until 11 pm, and on some nights until close to midnight.
- **Pelz** makes Alaska-style Russian pelmeni dumplings. It lists many evening stops downtown at 3Bs Bagels, in the old Sushi Hana spot, often until 10:30 pm.
- **Fire & Stone Food Co** lists hours until 10 pm at Town & Country Lounge on many nights.
- **Cielito Lindo Taquería** lists long days, from 10 am to 10 pm. Its spot can change from week to week, so check its page before you go.

A truck can change its plan on short notice, so look at its page on the day.

## Caras Park in summer

[Caras Park](https://missoulatonight.com/venues/caras-park) is the riverfront pavilion downtown, at 123 Carousel Dr. It was called Island Park until 1977. Then it took the name of the Caras family of Caras Nursery.

In summer the park is home to two free series. Out to Lunch runs on Wednesdays from 11 to 2, and 2026 was its 40th season. Downtown ToNight runs on Thursday evenings, June through August. The park calendar is on [missouladowntown.com](https://www.missouladowntown.com/caras-park/calendar/). For any event at the park, open the truck list for the same date and look for stops downtown.

## All-ages nights at Free Cycles

[Free Cycles](https://missoulatonight.com/venues/free-cycles) is the community bike shop on South 1st West, at 732 S 1st St W. It has been open since 1996. It also hosts all-ages shows, jams, puppet theater and fundraisers. Its own tagline is "bicycles, community, music, art."

Before a show there, open the truck list for the same date and pick a stop on your way.

## How MissoulaTonight puts the trucks next to the shows

MissoulaTonight is a free calendar for Missoula. Its tagline is "Missoula shows, dances, game nights and food trucks, updated twice daily." The listings refresh around 5 am and 4 pm Mountain time.

On the home page, Food Trucks is one of the filter buttons. It sits next to Music, Performance, Game nights, Dance, Talks & Learning, Community and Festivals.

The [Missoula food trucks](https://missoulatonight.com/foodtrucks) page uses the same day-by-day layout as the show lists. Each row gives the time, the truck, the food and the place. Click the place to open it on a map.

Click a truck name to open its own page. That page shows the next stops and the truck's links, such as a website or Instagram. The All trucks view lists every truck that the site tracks.

The listings come from public websites, Facebook and Instagram accounts, ticket pages and community calendars. You can read [how the calendar is built](https://missoulatonight.com/methodology), and how to ask for a correction.

## A plan for a show night

1. Open MissoulaTonight and pick a show for tonight.
2. Open the truck list and look at the same date. Find a stop near the venue, or one on your way.
3. Open the truck's own page to check the time and the place.
4. Plan your walk or drive. Each venue page has the address and a directions link.
