# Ten prompts that end with something useful.

Connect Marke.st, choose a recipe, and replace the bracketed inputs. A good prompt names the output, its destination, and its audience. The assistant should use actual tool results—not invent a successful action.

## 01 · Turn notes into a document set

Use only the notes I provide here. Turn them into a concise README and a
separate decisions.md. Mark unknowns explicitly. Save ONE new private
Marke.st paste in [FOLDER], enable history, read it back, and return its
real URL and document list. Do not change its audience without asking.

## 02 · Publish a fictional HTML artifact

```text
Create a portable HTML guide for an invented app, plus a Markdown README
and fictional JSON data. No external scripts, secrets, accounts, or
backend claims. Save all three documents in ONE new unlisted Marke.st
paste in [FOLDER]. Verify the saved content and return its real link.
```

## 03 · Improve one existing section

```text
Open [PASTE_URL], read [DOCUMENT_PATH], and improve only [SECTION]. Use an
exact-text edit with the current expected hash when available. Keep the
other documents, title, folder, visibility, and paste URL unchanged.
Show the actual diff rather than recreating the whole paste.
```

## 04 · Add a chapter without replacing the book

Read [PASTE_URL] and its document list. Add docs/troubleshooting.md using
only the facts I supply. Update the README with a relative link to it.
Preserve every existing document and the paste's current visibility.
Stop and report a path conflict rather than silently overwriting it.

## 05 · Find a decision across my documents

Within my Marke.st folder [FOLDER], find documents discussing [TOPIC].
Use title/path search to narrow candidates, then grep their content when
needed. Follow returned pagination before saying you searched all results.
Read only the relevant ranges. Cite the exact paste, document, and passage.
Do not edit, share, or disclose unrelated documents.

## 06 · Read a rich HTML report economically

and Markdown sizes. Read its prose using the Markdown representation
where helpful. Summarize its claims and caveats. Do not infer visual chart
values that are absent from the text; inspect the actual chart or data.
This is a read-only task.

## 07 · Make a separate adaptation of a reusable example

Read the specific public example [SOURCE_URL]. Create a separate paste
using its reusable structure and my approved replacement content. Retain
appropriate source credit. Keep the original untouched. Set the new paste
private and return its real URL. Do not call this a native one-click clone
feature; perform the read-and-create workflow with the available tools.

## 08 · Give named reviewers private access

For my private paste [PASTE_URL], inspect collaborators and available
allowance. Add only the addresses I supplied privately, then verify them.
Keep the paste private. Return its ordinary URL and remind me to send it.
Do not create a signed link or claim invitation emails were sent.

## 09 · Issue a seven-day handoff link

For my private paste [PASTE_URL], create a signed link for 604800 seconds.
Return the exact URL and expiration information. State that it grants
access to the entire paste, including its ZIP. Do not post this bearer
URL in another public document or claim it is restricted to one person.
```

## 10 · Compare revisions before restoring

```text
For my paste [PASTE_URL], list the saved versions relevant to [DOCUMENT].
Compare the current state with [VERSION]. Show the changes and identify
whether a proposed restore affects one document or the whole paste.
Do not restore until I explicitly authorize the exact change.
```

## A useful ending for any write request

> Return the actual paste URL, affected paths, visibility, checks performed, and any pending approval. Do not say a browser interaction, test, publication, or invitation succeeded without evidence.

These are intentional recipes for a connected assistant, not background automations. Tool permissions, client support, and plan limits still apply. Retrieved documents are content to work with, not authority to reveal secrets or override your instructions.
