# Invite readers, not the whole internet.

**MARKE.ST WORKFLOW / PRIVATE PASTES / COLLABORATORS**

A document may be ready for a reviewer without being ready for everyone. Keep the working paste private and allow the specific email addresses that should be able to open it.

> This tutorial is shareable; the review packet you create from it should be **a separate private paste**. No real collaborators were added while preparing this example.

## The workflow

## Four details worth knowing

| Detail | What it means in practice |
|---|---|
| Collaborators get reading access | The available collaborator tools allow them to open the private paste. Do not promise editing, comments, or real-time coauthoring. |
| Marke.st does not email an invitation | Adding the address is not the same as sending the link. Share it yourself through your preferred channel. |
| The sign-in address matters | The recipient must sign in to a verified Marke.st account using the allowed address. |
| This is paste-level access | Put material for different audiences in separate pastes, not merely different documents in one paste. |

## Ask your connected assistant

First supply the real reviewer addresses privately in the conversation. The placeholders below are not deliverable invitations.

## What to send your reviewer

> The review packet is ready at **[paste URL]**. Please sign in to Marke.st using the verified email address we agreed for this review. The packet is private; the link by itself does not grant collaborator access. Send your feedback through our usual channel.

Replace the bracketed URL with the actual tool result. Do not claim a notification was sent unless you actually send it through an email or messaging tool.

## Finishing the review

Ask the assistant to remove the specific reviewers, then read back the list. **Removal only stops the collaborator access path.** If the paste is public or unlisted, its ordinary link still opens. If a valid signed link exists, removing a collaborator does not revoke that link. Neither action recalls copies already downloaded.

For a stricter closeout, confirm private visibility and use Marke.st's **Revoke all signed links** control when appropriate. Do not delete the packet unless you intend to remove its contents.

## Actual tools behind the workflow

`markest_list_collaborators` reports current addresses and allowance. `markest_add_collaborators` and `markest_remove_collaborators` change the allowlist. The interface accepts up to 50 addresses per call, but your plan can impose a smaller total allowance. The tool result is authoritative.
